2009 AGM Trophy Winners

On Thursday, 19th November 2009, Brigade held their AGM in the clubhouse at Beechgrove where the individual prize winners for the 2009 season received their awards from club President, Jim Wallace.

Midweek Team Season Summary – 2008

In the season of 2008 we took to the field with arguably one of the youngest ever Midweek teams Brigade has seen with an average age of 17! When you consider that this also included the club’s legend, Dougie Huey, still playing in his 50’s then it really was a young side. It is great to see people of his age still playing and contributing for the fun of it and not just about winning.

2008 AGM Trophy Winners

Brigade held their AGM last night, 4th December 2008.  Amongst many items on the Agenda for the evening was the presentation of the various trophies for the 2008 season. It may have been a disappointing season for Brigade overall on a team basis but there were some very fine individual performances which got their due recognition with the presentation of the trophies.

2004 Midweek Team Season Summary

The midweek XI enjoyed another successful season and competed in the usual spirited manner. lan Duddy continued as team manager, whilst Stephen Scroggie assumed responsibility on the field as captain.

 

The season begun with comfortable league wins at Killymallaght and at home to Ardmore, before the side travelled to the Rectory Field for a cup match which saw Briagde emerge victors in somewhat unsavory circumstances with bowlers Mark Manning, Richard Brady and Dougie Huey claiming two wickets each.
